NBC

"Revolution" season two premiers on September 25, 2013 at 8/7c on NBC.
AB Media Publishing, LLC

The hit NBC science fiction television drama series "Revolution" has been renewed for a full 22-episode second season, and the show has moved shooting locations from Wilmington, North Carolina to Austin, Texas. The series casting directors are auditioning actors for new recurring, guest starring, and day player roles. In addition, the local Austin casting director is seeking talent to work as series regular extras for the entire second season. Shooting will take place from July 5, 2013 through April 30, 2013.

"Revolution" takes place in a post-apocalyptic world 15 years after a technological blackout causes computers, planes, cars, phones, even lights to stop working. The show centers on a "family" - both biological and chosen - that struggles to reunite with one another. Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson is a strong-willed young woman who's brother Danny is kidnapped by Monroe Republic Militia and eventually killed by random helicopter gunfire. Charlie must team with a rogue band of survivors to overthrow the militia, and attempt to re-establish the Unites States of America. The underlying mystery is always there... why did the power fail, and will it ever return?

Returning for season two of "Revolution" is the beautiful and talented Saturn Award nominated Greek-Canadian actress Tracy Spiridakos playing the role of Charlie Matheson. Also starring in the series is Saturn Award nominee Billy Burke in the role of former U.S. Marine Corps sergeant Miles Matheson; Primetime Emmy Award nominee Elizabeth Mitchell plays Ben's wife and Charlie and Danny's mother Rachel Matheson; Zak Orth portrays the character Aaron Pittman, a former Google executive and friend of Charlie's father Ben; Primetime Emmy Award nominee Giancarlo Esposito is Major Tom Neville; Imagen Award nominee JD Pardo plays the role of former Monroe Militia Lieutenant Jason Neville; and Logie Award nominee David Lyons plays President/General Sebastian "Bass" Monroe.

Co-executive producing is Hugo Award nominee Anne Cofell Saunders, Kathy Lingg, David Rambo, Phil Sgriccia, and Trey Callaway. Story:

Our entire way of life depends on electricity. So what would happen if it just stopped working? Well, one day, like a switch turned off, the world is suddenly thrust back into the dark ages. Planes fall from the sky, hospitals shut down, and communication is impossible. And without any modern technology, who can tell us why? Now, 15 years later, life is back to what it once was long before the industrial revolution: families living in quiet culde-sacs, and when the sun goes down lanterns and candles are lit. Life is slower and sweeter. Or is it? On the fringes of small farming communities, danger lurks. And a young woman’s (Tracy Spiridakos) life is dramatically changed when a local militia arrives and kills her father, who mysteriously – and unbeknownst to her – had something to do with the blackout. This brutal encounter sets her and two unlikely companions off on a daring coming-of-age journey to find answers about the past in the hopes of reclaiming the future.

Feature film 'Beware the Night' casting extras in New York through August, 2013

Beware the Night New York Casting Calls

"Beware the Night" will hit theaters on January 16, 2015.
AB Media Publishing, LLC

Jerry Bruckheimer Films is now in production on the Screen Gems supernatural thriller feature film "Beware the Night", and casting for day player actors and background performers is ongoing. Filming is taking place in the New York City area through August, 2013. All ages and types are being cast as extras. Principal actor casting has been taking place in both Los Angeles and New York. "Beware the Night" is based on the novel of the same name written by sixteen-year NYPD veteran, Ralph Sarchie.

"Beware the Night" centers on Irish Catholic NYPD detective Ralph Sarchie, who works out of the 46th Precinct in South Bronx. He also works with his partner investigating cases of demonic possession and assisting in the exorcisms of humanity's most ancient, and most dangerous, foes. While working on a murder case, Sarchie runs into a renegade priest who is convinced that a demonic element is at play, and finds himself targeted by the devil in the form of a possessed soldier.

Starring in "Beware the Night" is multiple award winning Australian actor Eric Bana playing the role of detective Ralph Sarchie. Bana recently completed shooting the feature film "Lone Survivor" starring alongside Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch, and Ben Foster. The stunningly beautiful model and actress Olivia Munn is playing Bana's girlfriend, while Joel McHale plays Bana's partner. Golden Globe Award nominee Edgar Ramirez is on board as a Jesuit priest, and Sean Harris plays the role of a possessed soldier.

Filmmaker Scott Derrickson is directing from an adapted screenplay that he wrote along with Paul Harris Boardman. Derrickson also wrote and directed the Screen Gems courtroom drama horror film "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" which had a budget of $20 million and has raked in $131 million at the box office. He then directed the sci-fi remake of "The Day the Earth Stood Still" which has taken in over $233 million on an $80 million budget. He directed and wrote the thriller "Sinister" on a $3 million budget, bringing in over $48 million in the USA alone.

Nine-time Primetime Emmy Award winner Jerry Bruckheimer is executive producing under the banner of his company Jerry Bruckheimer Films along with Chad Oman and Mike Stenson. Bruckheimer has an impressive list of film producing credits that includes "Top Gun," "The Rock," "Con Air," "Pearl Harbor," "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl," "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest," "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End," "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," and "The Lone Ranger".

Disney casting extras for feature film 'Million Dollar Arm'

Disney Casting Extras Million Dollar Arm

"Million Dollar Arm" is based on the true story of sports agent J.B. Bernstein.
AB Media Publishing, LLC

Roth Films in association with Mayhem Pictures is now in production on the Walt Disney Pictures true-story live-action feature film "Million Dollar Arm," about a sports agent who discovered baseball pitchers amongst cricket players in India by staging a reality show to discover new talent. The Primetime Emmy award winning casting director is casting various roles for film. Also being cast are extras available to work in Atlanta, GA. The Atlanta portion of filming will begin in June, 2013. Filming is also been taking place in Mumbai, India.

"Million Dollar Arm" is based on the true story of how sports agent J.B. Bernstein discovered professional pitchers Rinku Singh and Dinesh Patel through a reality show he staged in India with cricket players. Bernstein noticed how similar the game's throwing motion was to that of baseball pitchers and created the reality show "Million Dollar Arm" to audition 40,000 cricket players. Not only did he have to teach Singh and Patel the rules of baseball, but he also had to teach them about American culture and speaking English. Bernstein's work paid off when the duo became the first Indian players to sign with pro baseball teams when they got contracts with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Disney casting executives have cast Golden Globe Award winner Jon Hamm to portray the lead role of sports agent J.B. Bernstein. Hamm became a household name when he was cast as advertising executive Don Draper in the AMC drama series Mad Men, a role that earned him five Golden Globe Award nominations with one win. He has also been nominated nine times for Primetime Emmey Awards, and ten times for Screen Actors Guild Awards with two wins. Hamm is no stranger to sports as he was a member of the football, baseball, and swim teams while attending the private John Burroughs School in Ladue, Missouri. Hamm is lined up to produce the film "Dusty and the Big Bad World" starring Jennifer Westfeldt.

Directors Guild of America DGA Award winning Australian filmmaker Craig Gillespie is directing "Million Dollar Arm" from a screenplay written by Academy Award winning scribe Tom McCarthy. Prior to directing feature films, Gillespie worked for fifteen years as a commercial director, earning the Directors Guild of America Award category for "Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Commercials". Gillespie's television series directing credits include the pilot episode of Steven Spielberg's television show "The United States of Tara," and the pilot episode of the ABC show "My Generation". Writer Tom McCarthy has received critical acclaim for his writing/direction work for the independent films "The Station Agent," "The Visitor," and "Win Win".

Primetime Emmy Award nominee Joe Roth and Palak Patel are producing "Million Dollar Arm" for Roth Films, the company that produced such epic Disney films as "Alice in Wonderland," "Oz the Great and Powerful" starring James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, and Michelle Williams. Roth also produced the upcoming "Maleficent" starring Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning. Mark Ciardi and Gordon Gray are producing for Mayhem Pictures, who also produced another true-story Disney film, "Invincible" based on the story of Vince Papale, a 30-year-old bartender from South Philadelphia who overcame long odds to play for the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles in 1976. Mayhem also produced the Disney films "Miracle," "The Game Plan," "Secretariat," and the upcoming Reese Witherspoon starring vehicle "Wish List".

Principal actor casting for the film's lead roles co-starring roles are being cast in New Orleans. New Orleans production will run through July, 2013.

He will create, write and direct broadcast and cable projects as well as supervise other writers. Reeves will direct "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" from a screenplay originally written by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, with rewrites by Mark Bomback. Under Chernin’s leadership, Twentieth Century Fox Film produced the two top-grossing movies of all time, Titanic and Avatar. Chernin Entertainment currently has a film production deal with Fox.
