American Horror Story Season 2 Extras

Shooting on "American Horror Story" Season 2 begins on July 10, 2012.
AB Media Publishing, LLC

The hit FX Network Golden Globe Nominated horror-drama series American Horror Story has been renewed for a second season and the show is now casting extras in Los Angeles. The show's format is anthology based, whereas the story, characters, and location for each season is different. The show's guest stars and extras will be cast throughout the season, which begins shooting July, 2012. The second season of "American Horror Story" will take place in a 1960's East Coast asylum for the criminally insane, although filming will take place in Los Angeles.

Season 2 will be centered around two-time Academy Award winner Jessica Lange's new character, which is being described as the opposite of the Constance character Lange played in the first season. Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, and Lily Rabe are also returning to play new roles. The second season of "American Horror Story" is set on the East Coast at an institution for the criminally insane that is run by Jessica Lange's character.

"The Voice" coach Adam Levine has joined the cast and will play half of a couple called "The Lovers" along with unknown newcomer Tiasia Jacobs. French actress Lizzie Brocheré has won the most pivotal new series regular role on "American Horror Story" Season 2. Brocheré will play a fierce, ferocious, extremely sexual and dangerous wild-child sexpot, who is a nemesis for Jessica Lange. Academy Award nominee Chloë Sevigny will play a woman who was institutionalized by her husband over her sexual addiction. James Cromwell signed on to play the role of Dr. Arden, a man who works in the asylum. Britne Oldford plays an insane woman named Alma.

Ryan Murphy and Dante Di Loreto will executive produce for Ryan Murphy Productions. Murphy's good friend and co-creator of "American Horror Story", Brad Falchuk, will also executive produce along with former actress and writer Jennifer Salt, and three-time primetime Emmy Award nominee James Wong.

Story:

Season two of "American Horror Story" will center around a 1960's east coast mental asylum, and will not be another ghost story. It is said that the story will be very equally terrifying, but with very different vibe. Just as the house in the first season had a paramagnetic grip like a battery, with negative energy that feeds on trauma and draws things to it, season two involves the energy that's often found in prisons or asylums. Season two of "American Horror Story" is set on the East Coast at an institution for the criminally insane that is run by Jessica Lange's character.

Major feature film open casting calls scheduled for extras in Arizona

AB Media Publishing, LLC.

The extras casting director for the third and final chapter in this comedy film trilogy is holding open casting calls in Nogales and Tucson, Arizona for people interested in working as paid extras on the film. Arizona shooting commences in mid-October, 2012. Returning for this third film are Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Mike Tyson, and Ken Jeong in an expanded role. Heather Graham will also reprise her role as Jade, as will Sasha Barrese as Tracy.

Academy Award nominated filmmaker Todd Phillips will direct his third film in the series from a script that he co-wrote with Craig Mazin. Phillips has stated that this film would be "very much a finale and an ending," and that the story "would not follow the template (of the first two films), but would rather be a new idea". The distributor of this film has announced a release date of May 24, 2013, again aiming for a Memorial Day opening weekend.

Director Todd Phillips will also produce along with Daniel Goldberg. Phillips and Goldberg are partners in Green Hat Films, which is also referred to as Todd Phillips Company. Scott Budnick will executive produce for Green Hat. In February, this film's distributor extended its first-look deal with Todd Phillips’ Green Hat Films through the end of 2013.
