Fox 2000 Pictures and Flashpoint Entertainment are currently in production on the feature film Water for Elephants, which stars Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon. Water For Elephants is based on the book of the same title by Sara Gruen. The film is being directed by Francis Lawrence, who is also set to direct Snow and the Seven for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

Universal Pictures 'Battleship' open casting calls for extras in Hawaii

The upcoming Universal Pictures epic naval action adventure 'Battleship' is holding open casting calls in Hawaii for Military Personnel/Spouses and Children of all ages and any ethnicity to work as paid background actors on the film. Battleship is being directed by Peter Berg, who has directed such films as Hancock, The Kingdom, and The Rundown.

The film is based on the mega-popular Hasbro board game Battleship, and the action unfolds in the sky, across the seas, and over land as our planet battles for survival against a superior alien force.

Transformers 3 is currently filming in Los Angeles and extras casting is now ongoing. Director Michael Bay has signed on to direct his third Transformers picture, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has replaced Megan Fox in quick order. Pre-shoots took place April, 2010.

The filming locations are set for Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Florida, Texas, Africa, Moscow and China. Principal photography is scheduled to run through July 1, 2010 in Los Angeles before moving on to Chicago and Washington, D.C. The release date is scheduled for July 1st, 2011.
