Casting call for 'Independence Day Forever: Part I' featured roles
The feature film "Independence Day Forever: Part I" is now officially in production, and the film needs featured extras to appear in a "Moon Base" scene. Electric Entertainment and Centropolis Entertainment will be filming these scenes for "Independence Day Forever" in June, 2015 in New Mexico. The featured roles and extras casting call details are posted below. To be considered, all actors, extras, and crew members must have legal eligibility to work in New Mexico.
Independence Day Forever takes place twenty years after USAF Captain Steven Hiller and satellite technician David Levinson flew a repaired alien attacker vessel into the mothership and introduced a computer virus, planted a nuclear missile on board, and ultimately allowed for the defeat of the alien invaders. But before the aliens were completely destroyed, they were able to send out a distress call that took 15 years to travel across the vast distance of space to the alien planet. Now, once again traveling through wormholes, the extraterrestrial invaders are back to launch a new second wave of attacks. Although earthlings have spent the last 15 years since the botched invasion using the alien tech for our own advancement, the extraterrestrial invaders are still far more advanced and much better prepared this time around.
Starring in Independence Day Forever is Jessie Usher playing the role of Captain Steven Hiller's step son Dylan Dubrow, who was a small boy in the first film (played by Ross Bagley, who was nominated for a Young Artist Award for the role). Jessie Usher is best known for his role as Cam Calloway on the Starz! television series Survivor's Remorse. Also starring in Independence Day Forever is People's Choice Awards winner Liam Hemsworth, Young Artist Awards Joey King, Golden Globe Award nominee Sela Ward, Saturn Award nominee Charlotte Gainsbourg, and Maika Monroe. Returning in their roles from "Independence Day" is Academy Award nominee Jeff Goldblum, Saturn Award nominee Bill Pullman, two-time BET Awards nominee Vivica A. Fox, Academy Award nominee Judd Hirsch, and Saturn Award nominee Brent Spiner.
Saturn Award winner Roland Emmerich will direct Independence Day Forever from an original screenplay written by Carter Blanchard. Electric Entertainment President Dean Devlin will produce along with BMI Film & TV Awards winner Harald Kloser and Roland Emmerich. Roland Emmerich's sister Ute Emmerich will executive produce under the banner of their production company Centropolis Entertainment. Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation will handle theatrical distribution, while DreamWorks Distribution will handle all media. Independence Day Forever is scheduled to be released in theaters on Jun 24, 2016. The original Independence Day film grossed over $817 million at the box office worldwide.
