Production is set to begin on the Legendary Pictures feature film "The Hangover 2", and the extras casting director is currently casting all types and ages above 18 years to appear in the film as background performers in Los Angeles. Both union and non-union extras are welcome to register.

"The Hangover" was a huge success and ended up far exceeding expectations generating over $467 million in gross revenue. The film won the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, and received multiple other awards and nominations. The plot for "The Hangover" was reportedly inspired by a true story that happened to Tripp Vinson, a producer friend of The Hangover executive producer Chris Bender. Vinson had gone missing from his own Las Vegas bachelor party, blacking out and waking up "in a strip club being threatened with a very, very large bill he was supposed to pay".

Shooting on The Hangover 2 starts September 30, 2010 in Los Angeles and runs through October 24, 2010. The production then moves to Thailand for most of the filming. The release date is set for May 26, 2011. Primetime Emmy winning casting director Juel Bestrop and Casting Society of America Artios Award nominated casting director Seth Yanklewitz are handling the principal actor casting.

Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, and Justin Bartha will be reprising their roles as four hungover friends for the sequel.

Story:

Billy Beane, general manager of MLB's Oakland A's and protagonist of Moneyball, had a problem: how to win in the Major Leagues with a budget that's smaller than that of nearly every other team. Conventional wisdom long held that big name, highly athletic hitters and young pitchers with rocket arms were the ticket to success. But Beane and his staff, buoyed by massive amounts of carefully interpreted statistical data, believed that wins could be had by more affordable methods such as hitters with high on-base percentage and pitchers who get lots of ground outs. Given this information and a tight budget, Beane defied tradition and his own scouting department to build winning teams of young affordable players and inexpensive castoff veterans. Hill will play Beane's statistics-savvy assistant Paul De Podesta.
