Paramount Pictures feature film Transformers 3 is now in production and director Michael Bay is directing his third installment of the franchise. Transformers 3 is the working title for the third film in the live action Transformers series, and is the sequel to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Story:

This 3rd installment in the series "won’t be as robot-heavy and there will be fewer explosions, as the film gets more into the robot character. The last time (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen) you kind of met a few of the robots. In "The Transformers 3" you’re gonna get a much cooler landscape" according to director Michael Bay.

The film is being directed by John Favreau, and producers include Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, and Steven Spielberg. This is a major western that has been shooting in New Mexico, Los Angeles, and Randsburg, California. A release date of July 29, 2011 has been set.

Story:

The story centers on an Old West battle between the Apache and Western settlers, including a former Union Army gunslinger named Zeke Jackson (Downey), that is interrupted by a spaceship crashing into the prairie near Silver City, Ariz. The story draws a parallel between the American imperialist drive to conquer the "savage" Indians with its advanced technology and the aliens' assault on Earthlings, who must join together to survive the invaders' attack.

In the horror comedy 'Vamps', Alicia Silverstone and Krysten Ritter will portray New York socialite vampires whose freewheeling lifestyles are tripped up when blood is pumped into their romantic lives. Sigourney Weaver stars as the queen vamp who turned them into creatures of the night.

Casting Society of America Artios Award winning casting directors Amanda Mackey Cathy Sandrich Gelfond are hiring extras in the Detroit metro area to appear as background players in the film. Here is what they are currently seeking:

● Good looking, sexy, confident men in their mid 20’s through mid 30’s.
● Someone who looks like Edgar Allan Poe.
