AB Media Publishing, LLC

Warner Bros. Television in association with Bonanza Productions and Alloy Entertainment are in production on the first season of the new CW television series titled "The Originals", which is a spinoff from the hit series "The Vampire Diaries". Casting directors are now holding auditions for guest stars and recurring roles, as well as day players. The extras casting director is also casting background talent throughout the season which will be 22 episodes. Shooting takes place in Conyers, GA which is southeast of Atlanta. Current extras casting calls are listed below, as well as principal actor submission details.

"The Originals" centers on the Mikaelson siblings, otherwise known as the world's original vampires: Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah. It was revealed during the backdoor pilot, aired on April 25, 2013, that recurring werewolf character Hayley is pregnant with Klaus' child. Now Klaus must take down his protégé, Marcel, who is now in charge of New Orleans, in order to re-take his city, as he originally built New Orleans. But the Mikaelson siblings were forced to flee the city after being chased down by their father Mikael, while it was being constructed and Marcel took charge. Upon their return, Klaus has but one burning desire: to take down Marcel and reclaim New Orleans for himself.

Starring in "The Originals" is two-time Teen Choice Award nominee Joseph Morgan, who continues his "The Vampire Diaries" role of Klaus Mikaelson. Phoebe Tonkin also stars in "The Originals" playing the werewolf Hayley, a character that was introduced in season four of "The Vampire Diaries". Daniel Gillies plays the role of Elijah Mikaelson, and Claire Holt plays Rebekah Mikaelson. The role of Marcellus Gerard is played by Charles Michael Davis.

"The Vampire Diaries" showrunner Julie Plec is executive producer of "The Originals" and serves as head writer. Plec developed "Diaries" along with Kevin Williamson, who will not be involved with "Originals". Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo executive produce for Alloy Entertainment. Morgenstein is also currently executive producer of the hit ABC Family series "Pretty Little Liars". Co-executive producers are Mike Narducci, Diane Ademu-John, Matt Hastings. Ron McLeod and Lance Anderson serve as the show's producers.
