Open casting call for two new Network TV series pilots in Atlanta

Marinella Casting is holding an open casting call in Atlanta, GA for people 18 years of age and above to work as general and possible featured background extras on two series pilots, one for ABC and the other for CBS.

The following types are needed:

• Males and Females, average real people types.
• Lawyers
• Nurses
• College Students
• Blue Collar Types
• Waiters and Waitresses
• Military Types
• Law Enforcement
• Upscale Types

Marinella Casting Inc. has joined a new system for extras to register online. Talent can fill in their own specialized calendar with availability in order to help the casting directors book the roles. There is no fee to register.

Please come to the open casting call well groomed, dressed to impress, upscale looks are encouraged. Be prepared to fill out an additional form with all of your measurements and sizes including shoe and hat.

In addition to the photo you upload on the registration form, be prepared to have an additional photo taken at the open call. You will then be ready to be booked directly for roles and wardrobe fittings.

Talent must and be legally eligible to work in Atlanta, GA and the United States.

About Bill Marinella

Bill started his film career as an actor, performing at the Cleveland school of the arts. It was there he was cast in the film Teachers, a three-week acting job at the age of 16 years old, as Paller, the nemesis to Crispin Glovers character. The film starred Nick Nolte, and soon after he was cast in Paul Schraders' Light of Day with Michael J Fox, and continued to work on features and commercials all over Ohio. Many years and many jobs later, he moved to Hollywood and became a casting director,casting background first then progressed into principal casting and producing, where he continues to learn and work his craft on low budget features and high end short films. He had two films two years in a row appear in Cannes and win sequentially the Remi Platinum Award at the Worldfest Houston International Film Festival, first in 2006 and then in 2007, both of which he associate produced and cast, both of which have won a lot of recognition among their peers. In 2009, Bill leaped to Iowa to cast several full length features in 2009 for After Dark Films, and while there picked up 3 other films. Now currently in Atlanta Georgia, Marinella opened a new casting office and has several employees helping build a new foundation in the Southeast.
